<description>What would you get if you combined the classic look of the Wayfarer, the arms of Eazy-E's gangster Locs, the hallucinogenic honeyed wine from a mountain pixies goatskin pouch and capriciousness of small erratic dog?

These:
Wildly imaginative colorful and inspired sunshades.

<description>This series was exhibited at Skink Ink Gallery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for the Flatlands show.

These illustrations are a continuation of the aesthetic language I employed for the "City Settlement" series, except where the site for those were vast abandoned landscapes, the site for these are dilapidated urban industrial facades. The crumbling and decayed surfaces of these buildings provide the foundation for a variety of intervening architectural devices.

<description>"... somewhere in sands of the desert A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun, Is moving its slow thighs, while all around it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds. The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?"

<description>These works were exhibited at Skoto Gallery in New York and Blanc Gallery in Chicago:

These are a set of 12 homogenous shanty structures on stilts [approx. 6”-10”], They have graphic decals on the side which prescribe a specific civic role to each structure. The idea is that individuals living in self-organized settlements often appropriate generic structures for specific programmatic functions.

<description>I often produce architectural renderings for clientele both high-profile and otherwise. Although the images may not always be as "radical" as my own work, these are the sort of projects where I sharpen my technical skills regarding: composition, lighting, atmospherics, etc. These contractual projects give me the opportunity to look at different software and plugins, many of which I end up exploring in unique ways for my own work.

<description>The Mapping Discourses Project investigates the intersecting movements, activities, and histories in and around 14th street from East to West; Avenue C to the Hudson River. Existing as a set of informal walking tours and experiential art installations, the project consists of large scale Interactive Graphic Maps and cartographic art outfitted with QR codes, which direct participants to a corresponding website where further information as well as digitized versions of the tours are available.

This project is a collaboration with artist Nathan Williams.

<description>When Google bought SketchUp I knew they were geniuses and I knew they had big plans for this basic yet highly intuitive modelling program.

Anyway, these images were created from that marriage: 3d spaceship models were downloaded from Google Warehouse and then stood on their ends in order to create a series of futuristic skylines.

Enjoy!

<description>Bus Routes and Bike lanes are Brooklyn's Arterial Thoroughfares, shuttling its diverse and populous inhabitants to and fro between points of interest, parks and places of residence. They are as essential as any circulatory system to sustaining the life and proper functioning of this bustling County of Kings...

They are immortalized in these Tees and Notecards that are soon to be available in my shop of affordable artworks.
